Greater transparency through energy flow tracking

Informed to detail

Measuring devices deliver reliable electricity consumption and system status information.
With their measured values they provide the basis for efficient power monitoring.
Whether for industrial applications, infrastructure or buildings,
the power monitoring measuring devices collect the power values for the infeed, outgoing feeders or individual loads.
In addition, they provide important data for assessing the system state and power quality.
The communication-capable devices can be very easily integrated into automation and power monitoring systems to process the acquired data.
Communication with higher-level power management systems takes place via PROFIBUS DP, PROFINET, Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP, M-Bus and KNX.

PAC Monitor

SIEMENS PAC Monitor app for PAC Meters allows users to review the PAC Meter product and features. PAC Monitor app communicates using Modbus TCP to a single meter. This communication will only function while the application is open and running in the foreground. The PAC Monitor app has Real-time, Trending, Harmonics, IO and Counters, Configuration, and Information screens. SIEMENS PAC Monitor app is currently supported for PAC 4200 & PAC 3200 Meters.

The configuration screen is essential. This screen will allow you to configure up to 20 of the meters’ parameters such as PRIMARY VOLTAGE and SECONDARY VOLTAGE from a user-friendly interface.

Powermanager software

The powermanager software for power monitoring can be used for infrastructure, industrial applications and buildings.
Already with the standard package with functions for the gathering, analyzing and monitoring

The powermanager software brings clarity to power distribution.

of various measured values, it is easy to set up a power monitoring system.
Other customer-specific requirements can be met with option packages.
With powermanager, you keep all your options open and, thanks to a flexible licensing concept,
you can expand the project with additional functions or devices at any time without losing any data.

The power monitoring software powermanager offers along with the measuring devices a power management solution to enhance the energy transparency and to reduce energy costs.
Powermanager supports a power management system in accordance with ISO 50001.

With the power monitoring software powermanager V3.1 all measured values are collected, which arerequired for power consumption optimization and corresponding cost reductions.
This includes energy and power values as well as many other electrical characteristics such as current, voltage or power factor.
The values are not only displayed, but can also be monitored and archived for future evaluations.
For optimization of average power values, the data can be visualized and compared via a trend view of the load curves.
Consumption evaluations can be rapidly generated via the supplied cost center reportsor in the form of freely configurable reports according to individual requirements.
Evaluations can be done easily with predifined report templates as cost center allocation, comparisonreport and a duration curve report. User defined reports can be created as well.

By use of the load monitoring functionality power demand limits can be observed and if requiredswitching recommendations can be given.
